NEAR Foundation's Education Relief Initiative aims to break down these barriers and provide support to those in need, ensuring that every individual has the opportunity to learn, grow, and achieve their full potential.
Investing in Nigeria's future, the NEAR Foundation empowers 2,600 academically gifted students from low-income families by providing life-changing scholarships. Recognizing education as the key to national prosperity, the program provides full tuition and essential fees for secondary school students and comprehensive support for university students, including tuition, monthly allowances, and housing assistance. This holistic approach ensures students can focus on their studies and reach their full potential. Through rigorous selection criteria, the foundation identifies students who demonstrate both outstanding academic merit and financial need. The program currently spans across various universities and secondary schools nationwide, fostering a brighter future for Nigeria's youth.
To promote continuous learning in our educational system, NEAR Foundation is dedicated to renovating dilapidated classroom buildings in government schools nationwide. This commitment aims to enhance and support the maintenance of educational standards. The foundation has successfully renovated a block of classrooms in two different schools in Kano state: Kaura and Kawaji, respectively.
